Miller Insurance Services has recruited a medical malpractice team and book from Clayton Risk Financing Services the joint venture between Lloyd’s broker Claytons and consulting actuaries Dion Durrell.

The team, headed by Clive Wilson, director, also includes Graeme Lynch, Melanie Mode, Lisa O’Connell and director Mark Popple.

They specialise in medical malpractice and professional liability cover for defence bodies, pools and mutuals based principally in the UK and Canada.

Miller chief executive Graham Clark said the new book of business complemented Miller’s perfectly, further strengthening its position in the professional liabilities market, as well as its relationship with actuaries Dion Durrell.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
