Management consultants MMT are launching a user group for London Market players interested in a new project management methodology.

MMT's user group will teach members about PRINCE2, a government developed methodology. It is expecting 75 people to attend the sessions, which start on 28 November this year.

MMT has geared the methodology toward the London Market by branding it PLIM (PRINCE2 London Insurance Market).

"This methodology gives the opportunity to bring people together with a level of experience," said Jon Parker of MMT's management consultancy division. This will be the first dedicated user group for the London Market.

MMT management consultant Richard Muddiman said: "MMT is the ideal organisation to support improving the marketplace. We are an ideal candidate to set up the user group."

MMT is also appointing a board of industry members to oversee the process.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
