Regulator will dish out posters to display in claims management companies

The Insurance Fraud Bureau has combined forces with the Ministry of Justice’s Claims Management Regulation (CMR) unit on a joint publicity campaign.

The campaign will encourage members of the public to encourage members of the public or insurance businesses to report suspicions or knowledge of fraud to the IFB’s Cheatline.

The MoJ will dish out the leaflets and posters during audits of claims management companies to display in their premises.

IFB director Glen Marr said: "It continues to be an IFB priority to root out and disrupt professionals who feature in any act of organised fraud against insurers. This is another example of how working in collaboration with industry partners, plays a part in tackling insurance crime to protect the interests of genuine insurance customers and businesses. We welcome and thank the MOJ/CMR for its support and assistance and will continue to explore like relationships."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
