Syndicate 1206, Gerling at Lloyd's, has had its performance rating upgraded to ‘B-' below average from ‘C+' below average.
The personal accident and US commercial property syndicate has an underwriting capacity of £60m which is supported by a Gerling dedicated vehicle for 2004.
The ratings agency said it has upgraded the rating in light of the Gerling Group's commitment to the syndicate.
