The expansion of the Society of Claims Technicians (SCT), the professional body sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, is well under way.
In just over a year, SCT has notched up 500 members and has attracted great interest from overseas.
While most members are loss adjusters, 19 insurance companies have also signed up employees.
SCT president Chris Miller said: “We are on target. Applications for membership and the exam are coming in every day. Very soon we will be signing up our 1,000th member.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
