The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is introducing two half-credit advanced financial planning certificate (AFPC) exams next year. The exams are aimed at those who want to move up from the FPC or to top-up existing AFPC passes.
The two subjects, retirement options and pension investment options, can be taken independently of each other, but both need to be passed to qualify as a full AFPC credit.
CII director general Sandy Scott said: "We have recognised that for some people the AFPC represents a significant step up from the FPC in terms of demand and commitment to study and preparation. This approach will make this transition easier"
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
