Ecclesiastical profit rise

Ecclesiastical’s interim pre-tax profits increased by £0.9m, despite making an underwriting loss. Gross written premiums were £201.8m in the first half of 2007, up £6.1m on 2006. Combined ratio was 101.2% out from 85.8%.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
