Allianz boosts D&O offering

Insurer Allianz has boosted its directors’ and officers’ (D&O) package with the addition of free legal services.

This means brokers can tell their D&O clients insured with Allianz that they will have legal services support, including:  

• Free 24/7 telephone line providing expert advice.
• More than 140 free legal templates.
• Easy to use law guide. 

Legislation and regulation topped businesses’ concerns in the 2021 Allianz Risk Barometer report, published in January 2021.

The annual Allianz Risk Barometer report identifies the top corporate risks for the next 12 months based on insights from more than 2,700 risk management experts from 92 countries and territories.

The insurer’s digital director of trading Helen Bryant said: ”It’s been an extremely challenging time for some of our SME customers who had to make a succession of changes to their businesses due to the rapidly changing external circumstances.

“We’re always looking at new and different ways to support our customers and by providing legal services as part of complete D&O, we’re offering very practical and tangible assistance.
