It hopes to roll out all classes of business throughout the year

Ardonagh-owned firm Price Forbes & Partners has partnered with technology company Whitespace to provide electronic placing capability for its London Business.

The platform will commence trading over the next few months with the intention to roll-out all classes of business throughout 2019.

The move is part of a larger deal with Whitespace for the development of a new digital proposition that will support Price Forbes’ clients and markets.

It will also encompass other Ardonagh Group companies.

It follows Price Forbes expanding into reinsurance last year in June with the launch of “Price Forbes Risk Solutions”.

James Masterton, chief executive at Price Forbes, said: “An end-to-end and fully digital client engagement is critical to our future success.

“Whitespace will enable us to work with the latest technology, providing a better experience for our clients, our markets and our people.”

Marcus Broome, director at Whitespace, added: “Truly digital business models are a prerequisite to the market achieving the savings which are vital to its future.”

He said Whitespace is committed to helping insurance organisations to implement these models.

Price Forbes & Partners is part of the Ardonagh Group and an independent specialist global wholesale insurance broker.
