Partners& has appointed Susan Young as managing partner for SME and schemes.

In her new role, Young will be responsible for leading the broker’s SME and schemes operations.

The appointment comes as Partners& seeks to expand its advisory offering for owner-managed businesses.

Young said: “I love the people-first approach I have witnessed at Partners&. Everyone has a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

“The inclusive culture and drive for continuous improvement and doing the right thing has really struck a chord with me.

Experience

Prior to joining Partners&, Young spent 27 years at Gallagher, where she led the private client and personal lines division.

She most recently worked at Sigma Connected, overseeing the firm’s insurance division.
