The rebrand ’reflects where we started and how we work today’, says owner
HW International has rebranded to Dubois to unite its European and Australian operations under a single global identity.

The name Dubois, meaning ’of wood’ in French, references the business’ origins under founder Hugh Wood.
As part of the rebrand, the broker’s Spain-based employee benefits and consulting business Lignorum will be renamed Dubois Advisory to align with the wider brand identity.
Commenting on the rebrand, Maurits Kleingeld, HW International’s owner, said: “Dubois brings together everything we have built over the years under one name.
”It reflects where we started and how we work today, with a focus on clear advice, personal relationships and delivering results our clients can rely on.”
Next stage
The rebrand follows a management buyout (MBO) in 2025 and marks the next stage in the company’s development under family ownership.

The MBO was completed after the broker sold its UK arm to enhance its independence, international presence and product offering.
Juan Alberto Garcia, global chief executive, said: “We are building on an existing business with the same teams and expertise in place.
”This gives us a clearer and more consistent way to present ourselves across all regions.”
