The appointee has worked at several insurers during his career

Boisseau, who has more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, took up his new role at the start of January 2025, according to his LinkedIn page.

The appointee has worked at several insurers during his career, including Ageas, with him having been the UK chief executive.

He retired from being the top boss at the end of 2018, when the insurer underwent a group restructure.

Boisseau also held several roles at Axa over 15 years, including director of underwriting and claims and deputy managing director of UK global risk.

Other firms he has worked at include Groupama, Lark, Bollington, Tesco and Carole Nash.

He currently sits on the Ecclesiastical board as a senior independent director, while he is also the non-executive chairman at IQUW.
