Speaking about her new adventure, she quoted Dorothy’s character from L.Frank Baum’s classic The Wizard of Oz-‘there’s no place like home’
Faye Fishlock, head of defendant services at Carpenters Group, has stepped down from her position after nearly two years.

In a LinkedIn post shared yesterday (31 January 2023), Fishlock said the day had been one of “mixed emotions” while saying goodbye to both colleagues and friends.
The post stated: “As Dorothy once said though – ‘there’s no place like home’ and next week I’m excited to say you’ll find me back at DAC Beachcroft with Craig Dickson and the claims solution team for a new adventure – sparkly ruby red slippers optional.”
Dickson is the chief executive of the Claims Solutions Group at DAC Beachcroft.
Fishlock began her career as a paralegal at DAC Beachcroft in 2001, working there for nearly two decades and holding a range of senior positions including partner, associate and head of motor injury and motor claims handling.
Closer to home
Fishlock has been continuously involved in Insurance Times Fraud Charter – the title’s invite-only quarterly roundtable with a fraud focus.
Donna Scully, Carpenters Group director, chairs the roundtable and works alongside Fishlock.
She told Insurance Times: ”Fishlock left us at the end of January to take up a role back at DAC Beachcroft to be closer to her home and young family – so providing her with a better work life balance. We wish [her] every success in her new role.”
Scully said that Sean Harris will be suceeding Fishlock as the new head of defendant and large loss.
