[ADVENT-REVEAL-START]
What was your insurance industry highlight of 2025?
For us, the standout moment has to be NFP’s acquisition of Bspoke Group. It’s been an exciting journey so far and we’re really looking forward to what lies ahead in 2026 and the opportunities that brings as we continue to develop a cutting-edge, tech-driven specialist high net worth (HNW) MGA.

On a personal level, it’s been hugely rewarding to see our team thrive and adapt to the fast-pace of change that we have experienced. Many of us joined the well-established Bspoke Private Clients team last year from GrovesJohnWestrup and Home and Legacy, so watching everyone really settle in, integrate and make their mark in a forward thinking, customer focused business over the past year has been fantastic.
What is your Christmas message for your insurance colleagues?
This year has tested the insurance market in many ways, from a softening rating environment to shifts in national insurance, but it has also underlined the strength of our relationships when we pull together and consistently put the client first. I hope you all get the chance to switch off, enjoy some well-earned time with family and friends and come back in 2026 refreshed and ready for what I’m sure will be a transformative year for the business.
What do you hope to find under the industry’s Christmas tree for 2026?
First, an improving rate environment would help to stabilise the market. Secondly, I’d like to see a greater move to digitisation across the industry. Where we have introduced it, it has made a huge difference to our clients and established much greater efficiencies across the business, so more widespread adoption across the industry would be very welcome.
[ADVENT-REVEAL-END]
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
