LMA announces a new operations and finance director

The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has announced the appointments of Rob Myers and Paul Davenport as operations director and finance director, respectively.

Commenting on the two appointments, LMA chief executive Sheila Cameron said she is “pleased” to welcome Myers and Davenport to the LMA, saying that they “both bring with them a huge wealth of experience and understanding of the Lloyd’s insurance market.”

She said: “Their expertise will add fresh impetus to the LMA’s priorities, including working with our members as they navigate the market’s digitisation journey and understanding how we can become a more future focused marketplace.”

Davenport has previously held senior positions at The Navigators Group and Chubb and has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Meanwhile, Myers started his career in the Corporation of Lloyd’s and has held a number of senior roles in Xchanging, and latterly CSC and DXC Technology.

For the last year, Myers has been operating as an independent consultant.

Davenport will take up the finance director role from end of March, while Myers will become operations director from May.
