’Our objective is simple, to provide clients with the highest quality specialist insurance services,’ says chief executive
Marco Capital has agreed to acquire insurance services provider Pro Global, in a deal that will combine the business with its existing PoloWorks platform.

The acquisition, which remains subject to regulatory approval, forms part of Marco Capital’s strategy to build an integrated legacy insurance and insurance services group with a broader client offering and more diversified revenue stream.
Following completion, Pro Global and PoloWorks will combine to create one of the largest specialist insurance services businesses operating across Lloyd’s, the London market and international insurance markets.
The enlarged business will employ around 1,400 people across 15 offices spanning the UK, Europe, North America, Latin America and Australasia.
Marco Capital said the transaction would strengthen its service offering by combining the firms’ complementary capabilities, regulated platforms and international reach.
Expanded footprint
Marco Capital said clients of Polo Managing Agency, Polo Insurance Managers and Pro MGA will benefit from enhanced service capabilities, broader expertise and greater choice.

The group added that Pro Global’s international footprint and offshore delivery capabilities would strengthen its ability to support clients across the insurance lifecycle.
Simon Minshall, group chief executive at Marco Capital, said: “Our objective is simple, to provide clients with the highest quality specialist insurance services.
“Pro Global is a natural strategic fit, bringing an impressive team, highly complementary capabilities and a strong international footprint.”
Steve Lewis, chief executive at Pro Global, added: “This marks an exciting new chapter for Pro Global. We have built a fantastic business with exceptional people and strong client relationships and joining PoloWorks gives us an opportunity to build on those strengths.
“Most importantly, our focus remains exactly where it has always been, delivering outstanding service for our clients while creating exciting opportunities for our people and the future of the business.”
