’This is our sixth investment in the last 10 months,’ says chief executive
Peter Cullum-backed Minority Broker Partnerships (MBP) has acquired a minority share in family run broker Eggar Forrester Insurance.

Based in London, Eggar provides insurance propositions across a range of sectors, including real estate, private client and media.
It is led by managing director Tommy Hodgson, who said the deal was an “exciting milestone”.
Hodgson added: ”We’ve built a fantastic business with an outstanding team, loyal clients and strong insurer relationships. As we considered the next stage of our growth, it was important to find a partner who shared our values and understood what makes Eggar special.
”Cullum, James McCaffrey and the MBP team bring significant experience in building successful insurance businesses and we are delighted to welcome them as investors.
”Their support, expertise and network will help us continue to invest in our people, strengthen our proposition and enhance the service, resources and market access available to our clients. We are excited about what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”
Next stage
MBP said the investment marks the beginning of a strategic partnership designed to support Eggar’s continued growth while preserving the company’s independence, values and leadership structure.
