’We have ambitious plans and I’m excited to be spearheading this transformation,’ says chief executive

Markerstudy has unveiled a new dedicated personal lines broking arm.

Called Markerstudy Retail, the arm will deliver a product suite across car, motorcycle, home, van, pet, specialist and lifestyle products.

These offerings are delivered through a combination of proprietary brands and strategic partnerships. Brands within the retail portfolio include Swinton, Budget, Carole Nash, Marmalade, Jaunt and Healthy Pets.

The move comes as the group reshapes its distribution business, with Markerstudy Retail sitting alongside Markerstudy Business – the recently launched commercial arm that is led by Ross Barrington.

Distribution boss Emma Rawlinson will take responsbility for Markerstudy Retail. She said: “In this, Markerstudy’s 25th year, we are evolving and innovating.

”We’re the UK’s biggest independent broker and under my watch the focus is on clear strategy and objectives that put leadership, customer, governance, people and culture and sustainability front and centre.”

’Immensely proud’

A key priority for the division is the continued unification of digital operations, simplifying journeys and processes for both customers and colleagues, while strengthening delivery across every touchpoint.

Rawlinson said: “As I reflect on my two years with Markerstudy, I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together in this short time. We are entering a new phase in our journey and my senior team and I are united in our drive to putting our customers first – emphasised by our new group and customer purpose.

”We have ambitious plans and I’m excited to be spearheading this transformation.”
