Markerstudy Business has appointed Rich Morley as its new broking director.

In his new role, Morley will be responsible for product development, accessing new markets and supporting the wider business team on development and growth.
He joined the team to support the expansion of the commercial division, which launched in May 2026.
Morley said: “Since Markerstudy Business was established, I have seen what the team have already delivered in a short period and the exciting strategy they have in place.
”To be part of this is a great opportunity for me and one in which I know I can add real value and continue my track record of growth and product development, whilst ensuring customers’ needs remain at the heart of decision making.”
Experience
Morley has been with the group for nearly 15 years, leading the niche products within Markerstudy Retail.

In his new role, he will report into Ross Barrington, chief executive at Markerstudy Business.
Barrington said: “It’s an exciting time for the division as we accelerate our product development plans, including the launch of new van and fleet propositions in the coming months.
“Morley and I have worked together extensively during our time at Markerstudy and I welcome his commercial insight, leadership qualities and market awareness. I’m looking forward to seeing the impact he can make.”

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
He took up the position of deputy news editor at Insurance Times in March 2023, before being promoted to his current role in May 2024.View full Profile
