The scheme is an extension to the legal expenses cover currently provided to residential property owner customers.
Craig Lane, partnership manager at Arc Legal, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Markerstudy Distribution and the Swinton brand with this launch.
“Rent guarantee gives landlords greater peace of mind, particularly with the implementation of the Renters Rights Act looming. We look forward to continuing to work with the team and providing support to promote this valuable product to their customers.”

With the abolishment of Section 21 eviction notices, and increased periods for landlords to pursue eviction claims, rent default periods will increase, which poses a heightened risk for landlords.
As a result, the cover is backed by a specialist landlord claim team.
Karl Askey, ancillaries manager at Markerstudy Distribution, added: “We value our long-standing relationship with Arc Legal and are pleased to be enhancing our offering to customers with the introduction of rent guarantee insurance.
”This addition enhances the protection available to landlords and reflects our shared commitment to provide high value solutions, particularly in light of the significant changes the Renters Rights Act will bring. We look forward to continuing to work together.”
