CFC said that Winslow’s appointment follows a “rigorous succession process overseen by the board”.

Then, Specialist Risk Group (SRG) appointed Neil Ross as chief underwriting officer of its MGA MX.

Ross will be responsible for underwriting strategy, portfolio performance, insurer engagement and the continued development of MX’s specialist underwriting proposition.

In departure news, Stephen Smith left Gallagher just over a year after taking up his role as managing director of broking and placement for its UK and Ireland retail division.

As a result of his departure, chief broking officer Simon Collings has changed his role to focus on broking and placement for the UK and Ireland retail business given its size and scale.

Next, Markerstudy Business appointed Rich Morley as its new broking director and will be responsible for product development, accessing new markets and supporting the wider business team on development and growth.

Finally, PIB Group appointed Alastair Hay as its new chief financial officer, effective immediately.

His appointment follows the recent hiring of Rob Houghton as chief operating officer, who PIB Group said together with Hay will be “instrumental to PIB Group’s senior leadership team as the group continues with its ambitions to deliver market-leading organic growth”.
