MGA appoints Liberty veteran as new PI leader

Folgate Underwriting Agency Limited has appointed Paul Freeman as its new chief underwriting officer for the professional indemnity (PI) team and business line.

Freeman joins the MGA from Liberty Specialty Markets, where he spent 17 years within the PI team. His most recent role was as PI underwriting manager for SME and mid-market, through which he oversaw the growth of the underwriting team across London, Bristol and Manchester.
