Liberty Specialty Markets has appointed Winsee Cheung as the new divisional director of its delegated authority practice.

Cheung will head the unit in Liberty’s UK and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, as a part of its underwriting leadership team alongside the other divisional directors.
She is responsible for the effective running of the integrated business unit and will report directly to Henry Nelson, chief underwriting officer in the UK and MENA.
Long-serving leader
Cheung joins the business from Marsh, where she most recently served as head of its portfolio solutions in the UK.

She has over 20 years of experience at Marsh, having joined the firm as its management liability international wholesale team leader in the UK in 2006.
Since, she has held various positions at Marsh including management liability placement leader in the UK from 2013 and specialty placement leader for the UK for over three years from 2020.
Nelson said: “We are delighted to welcome Cheung to the team.
