The new hire has 25 years of industry experience
Insurtech Nimbla has appointed the former managing director at Lloyd’s broker RFIB Elizabeth Jenkin as its new chief executive officer.
Jenkin has 25 years of insurance experience – as well as her tenure at RFIB, she also spent 18 years at Aon, holding roles such as chief broking officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), head of international business and chief commercial officer.
She begun her career underwriting at credit insurance firm Euler Hermes.
Flemming Bengtsen, chief executive at Nimbla, said: “I am delighted to welcome Elizabeth to Nimbla.
“Elizabeth is a highly regarded leader and accomplished executive with operational expertise and over two decades of deep experience in the industry.
“Elizabeth is the perfect fit to help drive Nimbla’s innovative products further into the market.”
Jenkin added: “I have been so impressed by what Nimbla has achieved in a short space of time. They have a great product, a great culture and have built the foundations on which to supercharge growth.
“Insurtech has an ever-increasing part to play in the world of risk and I’m looking forward to help lead this progressive, cutting-edge business to scale globally.”
