PIB Group has appointed Rob Houghton as its new chief operations officer.

Houghton’s remit will span technology and operations, working closely with chief executives and leaders across the group to drive growth across the UK and Europe, while streamlining and scaling its operations and processes.
“I am excited to join PIB Group at this critical stage in its growth journey,” he said.

Houghton has more than 30 years of experience in the industry.

He joins from Aspen Insurance Group, where he held the position of group chief operating officer.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
