‘Having seen first hand the impact of the programme, I’m passionate about the role it plays in supporting school leaders and opening up opportunities for young people,’ says new appointee
Jacqueline Girow, executive director at the London and International Insurance Brokers Association (Liiba), has been appointed to the stakeholder advisory panel of education not for profit Inspiration for All.

Inspiration for All describes itself as a charity that “seeks to tackle entrenched inequality in society, classrooms and workplaces by investing in leadership”.
Through its partnership with the charity, senior leaders from Liiba member firms act as mentors for headteachers at schools whose students live in areas with high levels of deprivation, providing guidance on leadership skills and supporting social mobility.
Mentor programmes last nine months and over the first 12 months of partnership, Liiba has facilitated 20 mentorship arrangements.
Girow – who also leads Liiba’s culture, equity and inclusion programme – will represent the financial services sector on the panel, both as a partner and a participant, helping to “strengthen the not for profit’s engagement with the sector and support the continued growth and development of the initiative”.
Valuable perspective
Sarah Caton, chief executive at Inspiration for All, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Girow to the panel. Her deep understanding of the insurance sector, combined with her experience of the programme, brings a valuable perspective to our discussions.

“With Girow’s support, we are looking to grow our programme to reach more organisations and support more schools, while also deepening its impact and helping industries such as insurance access a broader and more diverse talent pool.”
The new appointee added: “I’m delighted to be joining the stakeholder advisory panel at Inspiration for All. Having seen first hand the impact of the programme, I’m passionate about the role it plays in supporting school leaders and opening up opportunities for young people.
“I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and helping to strengthen the connection between the insurance industry and the communities it serves.”
