RSA chairman Martin Scicluna is to step down next year, according to reports on Sky News.

Sky News reported that a search for a successor to Scicluna had already begun, with Baroness Fairhead, a former trade minister, seen as a strong contender.

A replacement for Scicluna, who has chaired RSA since 2012, is not expected to be named until early next year.

RSA declined to comment on the reports.
