’She joined us at an important moment when we were seeking to build the robustness and scalability of our operating platform,’ says broker

Clare Lebecq has stepped down from her role as chief operating officer (COO) at Specialist Risk Group (SRG).

Lebecq joined the broker in 2021 and spent three years working in the COO role.

In a statement sent to Insurance Times, SRG said that Lebecq had decided to exit the business as she wanted to “move onto fresh challenges”.

“She joined us at an important moment when we were seeking to build the robustness and scalability of our operating platform and played an important part in our growth, culture and business success over the last three years,” the broker added.

“We wish her all the best for the future.”

Experience

Lebecq joined SRG from the London Market Group, where she served as chief executive for just over two years.

Prior to this, she spent seven years working as the director of operations at JLT.

SRG is yet to announce a successor.
