The broker is planning to grow through organic growth and cross-selling products

Insurance intermediary Sutton Winson has acquired Kent-based independent health and protection broker Flexible Health Insurance.

Flexible Health has been trading since 2006 offering advice to individuals and businesses and will join Sutton Winson’s specialist health and protection team, it said.

Flexible Health’s founder and MD David Clare said “By becoming a subsidiary of Sutton Winson, it gives us the ability to offer both our individual and business customers a wide range of other insurance products that best suit their needs, whilst we benefit from the support of a larger company.”

Sutton Winson’s growth strategy remains the same, its MD David Thomson commented, namely through organic growth, cross-selling referrals of insurance products and services.

”Up until now, our health and protection proposition has primarily focused on offering private medical insurance and group protection solutions for businesses here in the UK, and Internationally.

”However, through the acquisition of Flexible Health, it now means that with their expertise, we can provide private medical cover options for individuals and their loved ones.
