The insurer paid £145,000 in accidental damage claims for leisure home policies over the last two years
Towergate Insurance has been chosen as Park Holiday UK’s preferred insurance provider.
It launched on 28 January and offers the tour operator’s customers an insurance proposition which includes market value options, new-for-old, fire, flood, storm, public liability and accidental damage cover as standard.
It adds to Towergate’s caravan holiday home portfolio and position in this niche.
In the last two years, Towergate paid out over £145,000 in accidental damage claims on insurance for leisure home policies alone.
The insurer highlighted that this figure brings to light the importance of this type of cover.

He said that the tour operator was a “natural choice” for Towergate in terms of “focus on quality of service and growth ambitions”.
Park Holidays UK serves holiday parks in the South of England operating 30 family-oriented parks and over 9,000 caravan holiday home and luxury lodges.
