’The time is now right to launch a new platform, exclusively for brokers,’ says managing director

A new travel insurance distribution platform has been launched for UK brokers, a statement released yesterday (18 January 2024) said.

Called Aneevo, the new platform provides brokers with an online portal that provides access to travel insurance schemes as well as a parametric product for delayed luggage.

It was developed by Just Insurance Agents Limited, and is the new name for Just Travel Cover wholesale.

All existing brokers who use the Just Travel Cover wholesale portal will be upgraded to Aneevo before 29 February 2024.

New role

As part of the move, Daley Gore has taken up the role of managing director of Aneevo.

He said the new platform would blend products with technology to provide brokers with access to travel insurance schemes from recognised brands in one place. 

“Our panel approach and range of products means brokers can enter client details once and see prices from several insurers, meaning higher conversion and less time spent keying in,” he added.

”There’s no age limit, cover for pre-existing medical conditions, cruises, winter sports and high limits for cancellation, emergency medical expenses and baggage, catering for the ever-changing demands of today’s traveller.”

‘Easy to use’

The announcement of the platform came following a period of growth for Just Insurance, which has led to the splitting of its direct-to-consumer and wholesale operations.

Gore added: ”Following sustained growth on both sides of our business and significant developments, including the acquisition of Alpha Underwriting and the launch of Smart Luggage, the time is now right to launch a new platform, exclusively for brokers, and separate the two”.

Aneevo aims to be the go-to system for brokers offering travel insurance.

Premier Insurance was one of the first brokers to migrate onto the new platform.

Director Gary Milburn said: “The Aneevo platform is excellent and so easy to use.

”It saves us a lot of time by having multiple products in one place and we feel confident that we’re going to be able to get our clients on cover, whatever type of trip they have planned.”
