’Being based in Bristol allows us to work more closely with businesses across the region,’ says corporate director

Verlingue has opened a new office in Bristol as the broker looks to strengthen its presence across the south west, Insurance Times can reveal.

The office will be led by Anne Bardsley, corporate director for the south west, and will provide businesses across the region with insurance, risk management and employee benefits expertise.

The Bristol location becomes Verlingue UK’s ninth office and will allow the business to work more closely with organisations across the south west, combining local knowledge and relationships with the wider capabilities of the international Verlingue Group.

Bardsley said the new office represented a further commitment to clients in the region.

“Being based in Bristol allows us to work more closely with businesses across the region, better understand their challenges and opportunities and continue building the long-term relationships that are central to our approach,” she said.

“We have a highly experienced team in place and are excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to support organisations with their insurance, risk management and employee benefits needs.”

Regional growth

Mike Latham, chief executive at Verlingue UK, described the opening as an “important milestone” for the business.

“The opening of our Bristol office is an important milestone for Verlingue UK and another example of our continued investment in regional growth,” he said.

“We believe clients benefit from working with advisers who understand their market and their business, combined with the expertise, resources and financial strength of an international group.”

Latham added that Bristol was an “important location” for Verlingue as it looked to support more organisations across the south west and continue its growth in the years ahead.
