WTW has appointed Gary Finkelstein as a senior director within its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business.
Based in London, he will help to further expand WTW’s transaction, complex structuring and advisory business to (re)insurers and private equity players in the sector.
Finkelstein said: “I look forward to working with the hugely experienced and talented ICT team and the wider WTW business.

Experience
Finkelstein has over 30 years of experience in UK and international life insurance and reinsurance, with a primary focus on M&A, financial structuring, capital management, ALM and risk management.

He has held several senior roles, including at EY, Milliman and Reinsurance Group of America. Prior to joining WTW, Finkelstein served as interim head of corporate transactions risk and group head of structured finance at Phoenix.

His career began in 2019, when he joined a local north London newspaper after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a first-class honours degree in journalism.
