Norman Insurance has told its 3,000 household brokers that they will only be able to obtain rates from computerised quotation systems.

As of April 1, Norman will be phasing out its existing paper-based quotation system for brokers.

Norman assistant general manager Tony Wright said discussion with its intermediaries showed that most already rely on computer software to generate quotes. He said: "Screen-only quotation provides greater flexibility in rating risks and improves the targeting of products."
