Lloyd's insurer appoints specialist underwriter Bill Bevan
Novae has entered the niche bloodstock and livestock market after securing the services of specialist underwriter Bill Bevan.
Bevan, who has over 20 years' experience in the market both as a broker and for the past 10 years as an underwriter at Brit Insurance, said: "Novae is committed to this class as a long-term venture and aims to become a recognised leader in this field. We are able to write an international portfolio of bloodstock, livestock and equestrian risks at all levels of the industry and will seek to write a broad account, achieving a good balance of risk.
"Novae's appetite for risk is healthy and will include all traditional market lines plus an open-minded approach to new and bespoke products in the future."
