Norwich Union has confirmed it is the insurer of the warehouse that caught fire in Warwickshire last week.
The insurer said the loss could be millions of pounds. Loss adjusting sources put the figure at nearly £20m.
The blaze at the vegetable packing warehouse in Atherstone on Stour, Warwickshire, last Friday is still being investigated and officials say it could be days before the full extent of the claim is revealed.
