Norwich Union Healthcare has launched a private medical insurance package for members of Richard Branson's Virgin Active Life Centres.
The new clubs promise to revolutionise the health and fitness industry by offering a total lifestyle package.
Members can surf the net, book a holiday, see a doctor or take some exercise.
For the first year, Virgin Active members can buy Active Care for £60 per adult, with free cover for children under 18.
Cover includes inpatient and day-patient treatment and associated diagnostic tests, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
Treatment will be provided at a hospital local to the appropriate Virgin Active centre.
"Virgin Active is an exciting new concept," said Tim Baker, Norwich Union Healthcare's managing director.
"Members will go there to enjoy their leisure time and improve their health and fitness, and Active Care will enable them to protect their health."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
