Norwich Union is to raise its rates by an average of 16%.

The insurer said the move has been forced by a situation in which claim costs had been rising alongside static rates.

Norwich Union said claims for personal injuries had been the main reason for the rise in its costs.


The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
