‘We’ve worked closely with the club to develop a bespoke scheme designed to fulfil vintage sports-car owners’ needs,’ says partnerships director
Peter James Insurance has announced an exclusive partnership with the Vintage Sports-Car Club.
The deal will see Peter James deliver a new scheme for members of the club, which was launched on 1 May 2025.
Options include exclusive rates for members, free salvage retention, UK European breakdown cover, tools and spare parts cover, self-repair option, legal expenses cover, laid up cover and limited mileage discounts.
Dave Youngs, partnerships director at Peter James, said: “We’ve worked closely with the club to develop a bespoke scheme designed to fulfil vintage sports-car owners’ needs and offer a true benefit of club membership.
“This scheme helps to protect these incredible vehicles today, but crucially secures the future enjoyment and helps to preserve valuable examples of our automotive history.”
’Real value’
This partnership builds on the 2024 launches by Peter James, including collaborations with the MG Car Club and the Morgan Sports Car Club.

Through its latest deal, Peter James also aims to welcome young people to the Vintage Sports-Car Club by providing a range of options to get involved.
Tania Brown, club secretary at the Vintage Sports-Car Club, said: “A scheme tailored to our members’ needs by our partners at Peter James ensures we are offering real value within our club’s membership fee.
“We believe in growing our community and introducing new faces to the world of vintage motoring, and this scheme, and the support from Peter James, is crucial to achieving this aim.”
