Loss adjuster Miller Pycraft has rolled out its eCatLink internet claims notification and reporting system to a total of ten insurers and brokers.

The system, launched earlier this year, is now being used by insurers Axa, Chubb, Groupama, Ecclesiastical and The St Paul.

Claims from brokers Jardine Lloyd Thompson, HSBC, Fidelis and ADT and Bell & St Clements at Lloyd's are also being managed online by the loss adjuster.

Bev FitzGerald, chief executive of Miller Pycraft, said: “The rapid take-up of the eCatLink system has generated significant new business.”

He added that the adjuster was committed to a sustained investment in ecommerce for the continued development of the group.

Peter Franklin, managing director of JLT Corporate Risks, said: “Miller Pycraft's internet-based claims regime has been extremely well received by JLT clients.”

Alastair Blundell, senior vice president of CNA Insurance, said: “The progress which Miller Pycraft has made in the field of internet claims handling has been most impressive and has given it a lead over its competitors.”
