QBE European Operations has appointed Brian Pomeroy as a non-executive director of QBE Insurance (Europe), its UK regulated insurance company, and Limit Underwriting, its managing agency at Lloyd's.
The appointment is effective 1 January 2006.
Steven Burns, chief executive officer of QBE's European Operations said: “We are delighted that Brian has agreed to join us and look forward to his contribution.
"He has an outstanding and varied pedigree which includes having been a member of the Council of Lloyd's for a number of years. He was also formerly senior partner of Deloitte Consulting and now holds a portfolio of private and public senior appointments.”
