QBE appoints non-exec director

QBE has appointed Wai Au as a non-executive director of QBE Underwriting and QBE Insurance (Europe). 

The insurer has also announced that QBE European Operations non-executive director Howard Posner has retired.

QBE European Operations chief executive Steven Burns said: “We are delighted to welcome Wai to the UK statutory boards of QBE European Operations. Her extensive experience across both the front and back offices of a number of global financial services and insurance organisations makes her ideally qualified to add value to our ongoing challenge to grow and diversify our business profitably across Europe.”
