QBE International Insurance has appointed Dagmar Bohning and Barry Robinson to its UK Trade Credit Division.
Bohning and Robinson, who will report to Derek Barnett, will assist in developing the division.
Bohning, who was with Euler & Hermes International, holds over eight years credit underwriting experience. Robinson joins QBE after seven years with Euler Trade Indemnity.
Barnett launched the division late last year to increase QBE's presence in the global trade credit market. QBE Trade Indemnity is a market leader for credit insurance in Australia and has established units in various markets in the Asia Pacific region and Europe.
Barnett said his team would be focusing on insolvency and default protection, in the form of excess of loss, multi-buyer, single-buyer and top-up cover, for medium-sized to large corporates.
The team is based in the London Underwriting Centre.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
