New hires from Allianz, Aviva, Broker Direct and Merlin

QuestGates has made six new appointments.

Merlin claims manager - subsidence Dave Clare and technical claims manager David Hession have joined as operational claims manager and technical claims manager, respectively.

Allianz internal auditor Gemma Larkin has joined as Questgates corporate claims solutions liability claims handler. Amy Arkwright has been appointed as Questgates motor division special investigations case manager, joining from Aviva.

The loss adjuster has taken Broker Direct employee Chelsea Beddows as its new building validation division assistant case manager and appointed Michaela Arrowsmith as a compliance and HR assistant.

Questgates managing director Chris Hall said: “Our new recruits all have specific skill sets that will prove invaluable as we work to achieve our goals and I’m delighted to welcome them on board.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
