Loss adjuster opens new Scottish office and confirms three new hires

QuestGates has launched a new regional office in Livingston, and has swooped for another former Merlin adjuster following the capture of Kevin Scott and Graham Hay.

The loss adjuster’s new office is located between Glasgow and Edinburgh with good commuter links to serve clients across the central belt and beyond.

Staff based at the existing Scottish offices, meanwhile, will be able to utilise the new modern facilities, which include dedicated IT support and meeting rooms.

QuestGates has recruited another adjuster, Ashley Clancy from Merlin, to add to the hires of Scott and Hay after Merlin went into administration and made 200-plus staff redundant last month.

Regional manager Scott said: “I’m delighted we have managed to secure office premises so quickly and bring Ashley on board to further strengthen our team. She was a rising star and has tremendous promise.”

He continued: “QuestGates has a solid reputation for delivering a personal service backed by technical expertise and leading-edge technology. We want to build on that reputation to give Scottish brokers and insurers a Rolls Royce service. The team has particular expertise in the social housing arena, but with more than 50 years’ combined experience in loss adjusting, we aim to deliver a transparent and seamless customer experience across all sectors.”
