Irish insurer Quinn-direct is to launch a direct commercial vehicle policy in the UK.
Shane Morrisson, Quinn-direct's financial planning director, told Insurance Times that the product would be targeting small owner-managed companies. The product would be launched within "three or four weeks" across England and Wales.
"We are competitive in Ireland [in this area] with a good claims record." he said.
He said Quinn-direct was looking to write at least £3.6m gross written premiums within two years.
Meanwhile, the insurer has launched a "seven figure" advertising campaign to roll-out its private motor product across England and Wales.
