R K Harrison Insurance Services (RKHIS) has opened a new regional office in Sevenoaks, Kent as its looks to improve its face-to-face service and captialise on its expansion in the south east.

The broker selected Sevenoaks as its south east base because of its transport links, well-developed local professional infrastructure and population demographic.

The regional office will be headed by Marcus Rennick, former head of private clients at Marsh and HSBC, who joined R K Harrison last December to develop the business in the south east. His management team will be joined by Ian Berry and Richard Arnold, who will focus on rural and private clients respectively. The office will also work closely with RKHIS’s offices in London and Bedford to deliver commercial solutions for local businesses as well as rural enterprises.

RKHIS board director and head of private wealth Katie Small said: “Our focus is simple: understanding our clients’ needs, cutting through the jargon and producing insurance that genuinely adds value for them. The new regional base will allow us to do this more effectively for our growing portfolio of clients in the south east - delivering personal insurance, implemented more personally.”

The Sevenoaks team is supported by R K Harrison’s main offices in London and Bedford and adds to its existing regional network of offices in Salisbury, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham.
