RAC today applauded Lord Falconer for promising to tighten up regulation of claims management companies.
RAC head of legal affairs, Jonathan Gulliford, said: "Neither customers nor personal injury legal specialists benefit from the actions of aggressive claims farmers operating without proper regulation.
"This is a positive step in cleaning up the personal injury market and will ultimately provide a better service for accident victims with genuine claims.”
