Services now available to high value cars

RSA has extended its UK repair network to provide prestige vehicle accident repair services for customers with high value cars such as Aston Martins, Ferraris, and Porsches.

The insurer said that the new prestige vehicle repair network has been created as a result of a detailed programme of interviews with customers and brokers to assess their requirements for their insurer's claims service. The study highlighted that drivers of high value cars were reluctant to have their vehicles repaired at standard repair centres and wanted a higher quality service, backed up by the manufacturer's warranty.

To date, 46 new repairers have signed up to RSA's Prestige Repairer Network, and discussions continue with additional centres. The repairers are spread across the UK, from Dover to Aberdeen.

Ian Thompson, head of motor operations at RSA, said: "We have listened to our customers and expanded our network to ensure that we offer a range of repair options.

"Having a vehicle repaired by a bodyshop within our Priority Repair Network brings the assurance of repair quality and service. The fact that we can now offer the same benefits to drivers of prestige vehicles is another milestone in our drive to deliver excellent service to our customers."
