Safety Measures has implemented a mobile data solution to improve its health and safety assessments.
The company has teamed up with STN to incorporate Assessor Solution into its processes. Safety Measures' assessments had been subject to delays but Assessor Solution has enabled field assessment officers to capture secure data using online forms on their Orange SPV devices using Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 software.
Safety Measures' productivity has improved by 40% and its operating costs have reduced by 25% as a result of implementing STN's Assessor Solution.
Gavin Wilson, managing director of Safety Measures, said: “Within four months of adopting Assessor Solution, significant cost savings were realised. Due to the ease of use, assessors were able to double the number of daily assessments. Further savings also became apparent as assessor office visits for collecting and returning completed forms were halved”.
